About us
The current generation of AI models is remarkable — and incomplete on its own. To be useful in real work, a model needs teammates that remember context across days, infrastructure that keeps it accountable, and a designed surface where humans can collaborate with it without friction. Those three layers — what we think of as the alongside layer — are where most of the value in applied AI will be built over the next decade.
GainWix is the studio building in that layer. We incubate software utilities and tools that work next to AI rather than competing with it. Some of our work looks like a teammate that picks up where an agent leaves off. Some of it looks like the plumbing nobody sees but everybody depends on. Some of it looks like a thoughtful interface that makes an AI feature actually usable.
All of it is built on the same belief: capability without context, rails, and care is not yet useful software.
How we operate
Most projects start with two to four people and ship something real inside three months.
We do not ship in private. Our incubations meet real users in the first month and learn from them.
Where it makes sense, our work is open source. Where commercial structure helps, we choose it deliberately.
Projects that earn it become their own ventures with the studio as the parent.
The team
Leads the studio with a focus on building software that fits naturally into how people and AI work together. Known for turning long-thesis ideas into sharp, shippable tools.
Builds the infrastructure that keeps the studio's products running quietly and reliably. Has a habit of making complex systems feel deceptively simple from the outside.
Shapes the human side of everything the studio ships — the surfaces people actually touch. Cares deeply about the gap between what AI can do and what feels good to use.
